Bad customer service

They put a lot of care into shipping--adding ample packing protection, individually wrapping fragile items, and using ice packs for perishable items like meats and cheeses--to ensure everything arrives fresh and in one piece. And the quality of their products is outstanding. The food is some of the best I've had.

We've ordered from Despana a number of times, and we've always been pleased with the quality of the product we've received and their service. This year, our family was doing a traditional "Feast of the Seven Fishes" Christmas Eve dinner, and a number of us were most excited for the star of the show, the anchovies we had ordered from Despana. The package arrived a couple days early, and when we unpacked it, we were devastated to see they had packed the wrong tin of anchovies, and we got 48g instead of 198g.
